Made a light box


I made a light box so I can take better photos of my woodcarvings. Below are the results from my first photo session. I used this article to make the box.

I also bought this tripod adapter so I can use my iPhone 5 to take the photos, I think it works pretty well.

    I also started Relief Woodcarving a little over 2 years ago. I do landscapes with trees, old barns, covered bridges, old grist mills, and historic structures around my home in central PA. I started as a retirement project while wintering in Florida 2011. There aren't a lot of carvers who do relief type carvings. Keep up the good work. I like to see what projects you come up with in the future. Rich Houtz

    Also, I like your ides of the light box. I have been taking photos of my stuff by either laying them on the floor, or left hanging on the wall. I think I will trying a light box to have more consistent lighting. Rich H.
